Click here to view articles from previous issues! ABOUT THE VIEW FROM THE LIGHTHOUSE: The “View From the Lighthouse” was born out of a need to promote the True Apostolic End Time Message. After attending a Prophecy Conference in 1995, Pastor Michael Brigmond felt the Lord tugging at his heart to publish the truth that had been presented at that series of meetings. The first issue was printed and distributed free of charge in 1995 and has been a valuable instrument in promoting the End Time Message. Supported only by freewill offerings, “The View” is still free to any who request it. The current list includes people scattered throughout most of the United States and several in India, the Philippines, Brazil, Australia, Canada, Jamaica, Germany and Bahrain. But “The View” is much more than just an End Times Newsletter. Over the years the main articles have covered a vast array of subjects written by some of the most anointed writers in the Apostolic Church. Some of the topics frequently presented deal with: · The Second Coming of Jesus Christ · Acts 2:38 Salvation [Jesus Name Baptism, Repentance, Holy Ghost, Holiness] · The Relationship between Jesus and His Bride · Dispensational Heresy · Maintaining Godly Relationships · Identifying Mystery Babylon · Exposing paganism in today’s common events In addition to these topics, and many more, “The View” also frequently contains articles written “by women for women,” and at least one original poem is published along with conference information, updates and some general church announcements. The selection of topics is intermingled from issue to issue to illustrate the concern for presenting the full Apostolic message and not just the end time segment. The desire is to reach as many as possible with the full doctrine, as nothing else equals salvation. “The View” as it is commonly called, has indeed been a prominent vehicle for promoting the End Time Doctrine as taught by Jesus and the Apostles. “The View” has also served well as an anointed instrument for bringing together ministers and saints throughout the world in a common stand for True Apostolic Eschatology. While the main focus of “The View” continues to deal with end time events, it has also stood firm in presenting the truth of Acts 2:38 salvation, holiness and full obedience to the Word of God. Where “The View” differs from other Oneness Apostolic publications is that it presents the viewpoint of a Post-Tribulation return of Jesus Christ as taught by Jesus Himself and the Apostles. This can be a very explosive difference! But the articles are presented from a scriptural basis, sometimes very pointed, but always written with love.
