Seven Steps

Seven is God’s number of perfection

    To be saved, man has to make the connection.

The First Step is to wake up and Repent!

    And not wait until after death to see where you went.

The Second Step is to get Baptized in Jesus’ name

    And put your name in heaven’s Hall of Fame.

The Third Step is to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost

    This is the gift you need the most.

The Fourth Step is to present your body a living sacrifice.

    All the time, not just once or twice.

The Fifth Step is to go on to perfection

    And obey God’s Word of correction.

The Sixth Step is to fight a good fight

    Remember: God’s yoke is easy and His burden is light.

The Seventh Step is to Endure until the End

    When to God’s Glory you will bow and bend.
