Doctrine, Theology or Soul Winning?

Everybody has a motive and a preference. Where do you place your priorities? Is doctrine the most important thing in your life? Knowing that what you believe is absolutely the truth?

Or maybe Theology. Is understanding the fine points of Christian Theology what makes you tick? Or, perhaps, your heart is in reaching lost souls for Jesus Christ? Is Soul Winning the thing that keeps you going?

If it is not, shame on you! Doctrine and Theology certainly have their place in the life of Apostolics, but Soul Winning is still our Prime Directive. If not for the fact that someone prayed for you and I, neither one of us would be where we are in Christ. Thank God for those who pray, fast, and witness.

I appreciate the Apostolic Theologians and Doctrinal Teachers, but if souls are not being won for Jesus Christ, all the doctrine and theology in the world won’t matter. We need to go back to introducing souls to their Maker.

The "View From the Lighthouse" challenges every Oneness Apostolic to reach someone this year and lead them to Acts 2:38 salvation. On Judgment Day, nothing else will matter. We are not of this world, so we must not remain attached to it. Our hope is in Jesus Christ and Him, alone. [][][][]
