Blindness
By Jim Perry
Kissimmee, Florida
The world can’t see the
forest for the trees
They
bend their minds instead of their knees
It’s a case of the blind
leading the blind
One
doesn’t care and the other doesn’t mind
They can’t see salvation
for the soul
Even
after they’ve been told and told and told
You would think they all
have cataracts
The way
they interpret the book of Acts
They can see this whole world is getting corrupt
Yet
they look for answers everywhere but up
They can’t see that God
is a God of wrath
But it
will be clear in the aftermath
They can’t see that Jesus is coming soon
But
when he does, they’ll sing a different tune
They can’t see there’s
coming a judgment time
But it
will be too late for them to whine
They can’t see there is a Lake of Fire
They
don’t even bother to inquire
They can’t see there is
coming a Y2K
They
still continue to run and play
They can’t see there’s soon coming an anti-christ
To set
up a throne to play cat and mice
They can‘t see baptism
in Jesus’ Name
They
think they’re saved just the same
They can’t see the need for the Holy Ghost
But in
themselves they can surely boast
They can’t see
Post-Tribulation
What
are they afraid of, more dedication?
