ABOUT THE CHURCH: In true Apostolic fashion, the Apostolic Lighthouse Church assembly first began meeting in the home of Pastor Michael and Sister Karen Brigmond, with 7 people attending that first meeting. For 9 months the church met there on Sundays and at the Buenaventura Lakes Community Center on Wednesday night. It wasn’t long before the first new convert received the Holy Ghost in the ‘living room sanctuary.’ As the church continued to grow more space was required. The search led to a facility the congregation shared with a “Weight Watchers” group. After 15 months in this arrangement the church relocated to Clay street, where years later hurricane Charley would destroy the building, but not the congregation. Since the first service, September 8, 1991, many people have been influence by the Apostolic Message preached in this local assembly. Not only in the church services, but also by the far reaching effects of the “View From the Lighthouse” Newsletter/Digest. All in all, “The View” has been an effective extension of the ministry of the Apostolic Lighthouse Church.
